A new Independent for the south West!

Big Col Apps has been my TVR servicer, race mechanic (and mate) for several years now. He’s always taken the greatest care with my cars and I have been able to trust him with a car to race. On the limit, all the time, every time.

So after the sadness of Dulfords closing, it was great to here that Col had decided to go out on his own. He’s been working continually at temporary premises (not the best), but has now taken the keys for his new unit. It’s quite a new place, around 2000sq/ft and at the quiet end of the Chelston Business Park, just off J26 of the M5 at Wellington.

There’s been some removal of offices, building of a reception area, moving in of ramps, moving in of tools all AFTER the correct fitment and testing of the kettle.

So. What will Col be able to offer at TVRs(SW)Ltd? Well there’s lots more information on his website www.tvrssw.com but essentially its all makes servicing and diagnostics but obviously the core business will be TVRs. Mechanical, electrical, servicing, MOTS, geometry and all the usual upgrades and bodywork etc. A one stop shop really! And there’s still more. Neil Perry – the brains behind Tvrcarparts – has taken the rear offices and after finding a backer, is currently stocking up with TVR car parts (there’s a new name, as yet undecided) to continue providing all models parts sourcing for TVRs. Like Col, Neil has a superb knowledge and many relationships around the UK and Europe for TVRs and its great to know that that won’t be wasted.

C’mon down!
To welcome his customers personally Col, Tina and Neil would like to welcome everyone along for a bite to eat, mug of tea and a chat next Saturday the 12th May. Open all day, the BBQ and kettle will be on for customers old, new and prospective, to come along, having a nosey round and a bit of a natter. All are welcome. We (TVRmonster) will be there to assist so we hope to see you if you can make it. I know the guys will appreciate it!
