Monster Griff races at Pembrey

After a long winter of preparation (and some considerable expense!) the “monster griff” is finally ready to break its duck on the track at Pembrey, South Wales. This is an apt race to start at as Tvrcarparts are sponsoring the tvr Challenge event and will be presenting the silverware. not that I expect to be in the running for any at my first race!).

We will be there for the whole weekend so come along if you can. Testing is on the Friday (11th) PM, and then it’s overnight locally with a curry and a few beers. Saturday is a late start, thankfully, with scrutineering and qualifying all day for the various series that are racing, MG Midgets to VSR silhouettes. Our slot is from 15:35-17:20. More Curry and beer! Finally its race day Sunday 13th! We have two tvr races the first at 13:25 and the second at 16:40.

Come along and say “Hello” if you can. Pembrey is a super track with all the corners based on the best of other circuits, so it’s very technical but great to view as there are banks all round. Hope you can make it; first one to say “Hello” gets a free “monster” polo shirt and a cup of tea!
