Sam Takes the Crown!

Group C wiz Sam Head, took both the Overall and Group C titles in the TVRCC tvr Tuscan Challenge at Oulton Park this weekend. Sam has had an exemplary season this year, contesting every round, winning every race and proving that horsepower isn’t everything. If he can manage another two wins at the remaining Brands Hatch fixtures (Sept 1st/2nd) he will have pulled of a clean sweep in Group C and in doing so, taking the Title, a feat that is unlikely to be repeated.

Sam has funded most of his racing himself, with a bit of sponsorship and a great deal of support from his family (often attending the meetings with him) and is a shining example of what this Motorsport Series is all about, on the Track and in the Paddock. Always there, always on the pace and always well turned out. Well done mate.

I understand that Sam now has some options to move to Group A. A Tuscan would certainly give Sam a fresh “Challenge”, and I know that all of the Group A drivers would love to have him in their group next year, but all of this costs dosh and a lot of it.
